Flipped Classroom
A flipped classroom is one where students are introduced to content at home, and work with it at school. In this approach, face-to-face interaction is mixed with independent study via technology. In-class time is dedicated to discussions, interactive exercises, and independent work that would have previously been completed at home, with the guidance of the teacher, who is available to respond to any doubts.
Students from a 5th grade of a Primary School can be assigned to watch at home the following video dealing with feelings:
Students will learn about the different emotions (excited, happy, sad, and mad). This activity will enable them to express how they feel. To prompt this, at the beginning of each class the teacher will ask how they feel that day by completing the phrase: ‘Today I feel/am...?’ Playing the song and using flashcards.
